Top Dry Cat Foods

dry cat foodWith all the options for cat foods, how is an owner supposed to pick the best and most nutritious options for their cat? Below are the top rated cat foods, with their ingredients, so you know what to look for when you go out shopping for cat food. Remember, a good food may be a bit more expensive, but it will provide your cat a long, healthy life and they will eat less because they are getting higher amounts of protein rather than fillers that burn off and leave them hungry sooner.

Pros: Full of meat and vegetables, the first two of five ingredients are meats. There are few grains, no corn, and taurine is listed as an ingredient. Very cheap for the quality of food. Overall very healthy food for cats.

Cons: Generally the ingredients are listed in order of the quantities put into the food, so it would be nice to see the ocean fish meal placed higher than the barley, but otherwise this is a top quality food.
